Today Ghostfire Games announced it will deliver the rhythm game Helix to WiiWare on Monday, August 25. Players will use their remotes to perform over 30 gestures in time with music. Providing a visual and tactile tempo cue, the backgrounds and remote pulse with the beat.
"Helix is not only fun, it’s a great workout," says Ed Roman, CEO of Ghostfire Games. "You can really burn some calories playing this game. You tend to lose yourself playing the game and forget that you’re even getting a workout, because the gameplay is compelling."
There are 26 songs in Helix from various independent musicians. The game will set you back 1000 Wii Points.

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 …
Remarkably, you can use successive terms to convert miles to kilometers:
8 miles ≈ 13 kilometers
13 miles ≈ 21 kilometers
This works because the two units stand in the golden ratio (to within 0.5 percent).
