Guild News
Congrats Wasabiburn on Guild Level 10! It’s been a couple weeks since the last update, hope everyone’s had a great holiday! Now we’re in a new year and we’ve got many new members in our guild! We are mainly recruiting right now for level 85 members doing heroics and starting to do some raiding this week. Tonight we will be heading into Blackwing Descent for the first time as a guild, it will be rough but hopefully we can make some progress with the first boss ![]()
Here’s a look at the new guild perks we’ve gotten since the last update:
- Cash Flow (rank 1): Each time you loot money from an enemy, an extra 5% money is generated and deposited directly into your guild bank.
- Fast Track (rank 2): Experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests increased by 10%
- Reinforce (rank 2): Items take 20% less durability loss when you die.
- Hasty Hearth: Reduces the cooldown on your Hearthstone by 15 minutes.
- Chug-A-Lug (rank 1): The duration of buffs from all guild cauldrons is increased by 50%.
We’ve gotten quite a few guild achievements in the last couple weeks, here’s some highlights:
Here’s some new rewards you can purchase from a Guild Vendor:
- Standard of Unity: Friendly guild reputation required, cost: 200 gold. Place a Guild Battle Standard that increases the experience and honor gain of all guild members that stay within 0 yards of the Battle Standard by 4%. Lasts 2 min. (15 Min Cooldown) – In patch 4.0.6 this should also increase reputation gains.
- Guild Page: Honored guild reputation required, cost: 300 gold. The Guild Page is a non-combat pet that acts as a portable guild vendor that allows you to buy your guild rewards from anywhere. He’ll let you buy and sell for 5 minutes and then you have an 8-hour cooldown before you can use it again.
- Worn Stoneskin Gargoyle Cape: 1-85 Strength Heirloom Cloak, Honored guild reputation required to purchase, cost: 1,200 gold. Experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests increased by 5%.
- Inherited Cape of the Black Baron: 1-85 Agility Heirloom Cloak, Honored guild reputation required to purchase, cost: 1,200 gold. Experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests increased by 5%.
- Ancient Bloodmoon Cloak: 1-85 Intellect Heirloom Cloak, Honored guild reputation required to purchase, cost: 1,200 gold. Experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests increased by 5%.
Guides
Many of us have stumbled into the new heroic dungeons in Cataclysm already, and have found most of the fights (including the trash) to be quite challenging. We love it. But to help clear some things up and give a good reference to the different dungeons and some strategies, check out these videos, we will also be putting up a dedicated page soon to reference these videos all in one place.
